Lenovo unveils a trio of new laptops and the new ThinkPad 10

The Ideapad 100 will come in two different sizes, though most of the hardware will be similar.

While most of the world's attention was focused on Google I/O last week, Lenovo was also quietly holding its own event called the Lenovo Tech World. At their event, the Chinese hardware giant's revealed a whole slew of new machines slated for release soon.

First up is the Lenovo Ideapad 100. You can get a look at the machine at the top of the page but here are the specs.

The Lenovo Ideapad 100 is an entry level machine, geared with all the essential basic features one might need. Apart from the different possible hardware specifications, the Ideapad 100 will also come in two different sizes, a 14-inch machine and a 15-inch one.

The Lenovo Ideapad 100 starts from US$249 and will be available in June.

If you're looking for something beefier, Lenovo also has you covered with its new Z41 and Z51 series of workstation notebooks.

Both the Z41 and the Z51 will look identical physically.

The Z41 and Z51 notebooks are designed to fulfill a myriad of roles. They are capable of being multimedia entertainment machines, while also being able to handle workstation duties. All while being a manageable, portable size. Take a gander at the specs for the machines below.

The Z41 is a 14-inch notebook, while the Z51 is a 15-inch machine though both sport Full HD (1920 x 1080) displays. The other notable difference is that the Z41 can come with an AMD R7-M360 graphics card while the Z51 can come with an AMD R9-M375. The Z51 will also have Intel's RealSense 3D cameras packed in, a hardware feature no variant of the Z41 will have.

Like the Ideapad 100, both the Z41 and the Z51 will be coming out in June. Pricing for the Z41 starts at US$499, while pricing for the Z51 starts at US$599.

If notebooks aren't your thing, perhaps the Lenovo Thinkpad 10 tablet might be more up your alley.

The Thinkpad Pen Pro doesn't come with the Thinkpad 10. It's an optional purchase.

Lenovo is billing the Thinkpad 10 as a tablet that can provide the full PC experience no matter where you are. Looking at the specs for the machine, it's pretty clear that they really mean it.

Like its name suggests, the Thinkpad 10 is a 10.1-inch tablet with the capabilities of a business notebook. The tablet comes with Windows 10 pre-installed, with multiple keyboard options to suit your needs.

The Thinkpad 10 will release sometime in the summer (either June, July or August) and will retail at a starting price US$549. We've also listed below prices for its accessories.
