Lenovo's ThinkSmart View is a standalone display designed for Microsoft Teams
Unveiled earlier this year at CES 2020, the ThinkSmart View from Lenovo is a display designed specifically for Microsoft Teams.
Essentially, it's a device that has been designed to help users quickly get into Microsoft Teams meetings.
To do that, it features an 8-inch IPS touchscreen display with a resolution of 1,280 x 800 pixels and a front-facing 5-megapixel 720p wide-angle camera.
As for audio, it also has a 1.75-inch full-range speaker and two passive tweeters. To capture audio, it has two 360 degrees microphones.
To give users greater flexibility, the ThinkSmart View has a specially designed back panel with an integrated stand that enables users to position it in portrait or landscape mode.
Inside, it's powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 624 SoC and runs Android 8.1.
For more privacy and better audio, it can be paired with a Bluetooth headset.
The Lenovo ThinkSmart View will be available locally sometime in July and is priced at S$499.
