Lenovo Announces 5-inch Quad-Core Smartphone

The Lenovo K860 has an impressive specs sheet that can possibly rival that of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note II and LG Optimus Vu.

Lenovo officially jumps on the phablet bandwagon with the announcement of its K860 LePhone device. Also known as the Lenovo Music Phone, the K860 looks very impressive on paper. Some of its specs include: 

  • Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich 
  • 1.4GHz quad-core Exynos processor
  • 1GB RAM 
  • 5-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels 
  • 8-megapixel rear camera capable of 100 continuous shots 
  • 2-megapixel front facing camera
  • 2,250mAh battery 
  • 9.6mm thin 

The Lenovo K860 LePhone is announced for China, and there is currently no word on its price or availability elsewhere. The 5-inch K860 LePhone is expected to go up against the likes of Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Note II, LG Optimus Vu and the alleged HTC's 5-inch device.
