Leica has a new variant of its popular Q2 compact full-frame camera. After the black-and-white Q2 Monochrom, we now have the limited edition Q2 Edition Daniel Craig x Greg Williams.

First, a quick introduction. Daniel Craig is, of course, the English actor that's most famous for playing James Bond – although it must also be said that he was absolutely stellar in Knives Out

Greg Williams, on the other hand, is a renowned English photographer whose works have been featured on magazine covers around the world. He has poster campaigns for Craig's James Bond movies including Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace.

Both Craig and Williams worked together to come up with the design of this new limited edition camera.

The camera is black while the engravings are inlaid with gold paint. Even the Leica logo is in gold, which, according to the brand, is a first. The camera will also come with a black hand-stitched Napa calfskin leather strap.

The Q2 Edition Daniel Craig x Greg Williams is limited to just 750 pieces worldwide and a serial number is engraved under the display glass behind the camera.

The 47.3-megapixel full-frame sensor, 28mm F1.7 Summilux lens, and Maestro II image processor are all unchanged, so expect the same great image quality you get with the original Q2.

Availability and pricing

The Leica Q2 Edition Daniel Craig x Greg Williams is priced at S$10,100, which makes it quite a bit pricier than the standard Q2 (S$7,750). Since only 750 pieces are made, limited quantities will be available in Singapore. You can get it now at Leica boutiques across the island.
