Intel is planning to take on Apple's M1 Pro and M1 Max in the coming years according to a leaked roadmap obtained by AdoredTV.

According to Wccftech, Intel is working on the 15th generation Arrow Lake chips to compete against Apple's M1 Pro and M1 Max. The first engineering samples are slated to be ready later this year and could ship to vendors in Q4 2023 or early 2024.

The 15th generation Arrow Lake chips will be built on TSMC's 3nm node. Apple's M1 Pro and M1 Max chips are built on the 5nm process. The Information reported in November last year that Apple's third generation chips will be built on a 3nm process and have up to four dies for up to 40 cores.
