Lead product designer Evans Hankey is leaving Apple
Evans Hankey, who succeeded Jony Ive as the lead product designer at Apple, is leaving the company next year.
In a statement to Bloomberg, an Apple spokesperson said Evans will stay on to work through the transition, and woud like to thank her for her leadership and contributions. Despite her departure, Apple says "the senior design team has strong leaders with decades of experience."
Evans' successor has not been named. Alan Dye, the software design lead, will stay at Apple and continue to report to chief operating officer Jeff Williams.
