Latest Samsung Galaxy Buds and Buds+ plugins bring widgets to the home screen

A couple of days ago, when Samsung started to push out a new firmware update for its Galaxy Buds+ TWS earbuds, it also released new updates of the Galaxy Buds and Buds+ plugins for its Galaxy Wearable app.

Other than hiding assets about the upcoming BTS-themed Buds+, the updated plugins’ main purpose is to deliver a couple of new home screen widgets.

As noted by some Reddit users, there are two widgets: one for showing the battery level of each of the earbuds and their case and one for quick enabling/disabling of the Ambient Sound mode and locking/unlocking of the earbuds’ touchpads.

Available in both black and white themes, with the ability to adjust their opacity, most of the complaints I’ve read about the widgets are their single small size and lack of control customisation. Also, since the original Buds doesn’t use the new PMICs found in the newer Buds+, the battery widget can’t show the battery level of the case.
