Based on past launches, many companies should now be gearing up to launch their flagship phones in the next few months.

Other than the 2019 iPhones, the Galaxy Note 10, and the Pixel 4, another highly anticipated phone that’s expected to ship before 2019 concludes is the next flagship from Huawei—which barring any last minute showstopper should be the Mate 30 Pro.

So far, rumors have suggested that the Mate 30 Pro would be an small update to the Mate 20 Pro. But that doesn’t mean there are no new features to get excited about.

Other than the rumored Kirin 985 processor, 55W fast wired charging and 10W reverse wireless charging, and up to five rear cameras (with a focus on videography), the latest front panel leak suggests that the Mate 30 Pro’s 6.71-inch display would curve on the edges, sport very tiny bezels, and use the notch at the top to house a 3D depth-sensing camera system.

That last bit is arguably the most interesting leak about the Mate 30 Pro so far. Not that curved displays have never been done before, but one with such a large curvature (even more than the Mate 20 Pro) is a first on the Mate series. The word is that Huawei is pairing this glass front with an equally curved glass back to create a unibody look.
