Klipsch Announces Two New Reference Headphones – The R6 and R6i.

The Reference R6 and Reference R6i represent the culmination of 60 years of audio expertise by Klipsch, and is an important first step in streamlining the entire line-up under the Reference name. Constructed from aluminium and elastomer, the R6 and R6i are lightweight, durable and comfortable, and replace the Image S4 and S4i at the same price points.

Flat cabling is offered for added strength and resistance against tangles, and both headphones will feature Klipsch’s patented oval ear tips for added comfort and superior passive noise cancellation. A 6.5mm dual magnet micro-speaker helps to produce the Klipsch signature sound (high efficiency, low distortion and wide dynamic range) and both the R6 and R6i are available in a choice of black or white finish.

The Reference R6i retails for S$169, and comes with an advanced mic and three-button remote that allows you to switch between listening to your music and taking calls seamlessly. This set has a one-year warranty, four pairs of different-sized ear tips, a protective carrying case, and a clothing clip for the in-line remote and mic.

Both the Reference R6i and the Reference 6 are available now at all major retailers.
