JBL unveils a slew of new headphones at IFA 2017

JBL was at this year’s IFA show with a slew of new products for all users, and we’ve compiled them all here for you.

First up, the JBL Junior (JR300). Specifically built with kids (aged 3 and up) in mind, this is obviously optimized in terms of size and padding, and features 30mm drivers so your kids get great sound too. It’s built to be durable and comes with a set of stickers so the little ones can personalize their own sets. Perhaps most important, is that these headphones will come with the JBL Safesound feature. This limits the volume to below 85dB, so junior has no chance of damaging his hearing.

The JBL Junior JR 300 will be available at all authorized retailers in October for $49.90. There will also be a Bluetooth model that retails for $79.90.

Next up, is the JBL Reflect Fit. These wireless sports headphones are IPX5 sweat proof, have a 10-hour battery life, and feature vibration alerts and an in-built mic to let you take and make calls. As you can see, it features a neckband design with playback controls on the front tips. This helps to ensure that the headphones stay on even through your most intensive workouts.

Hold down this button to get live heartrate feedback.

The headphones also contain heart rate monitors to help you track your workout with live heartrate feedback. In terms of audio, the Reflect Fit uses a single 5.8mm Dynamic driver with a frequency response of 10Hz-22kHz to deliver quality audio. It also comes with a quick charge feature so you can get an hour of playback after just 15 minutes of charging. A full charge takes less than two hours, so the headphones are ready for action with little downtime.

Pricing and availability for the Reflect Fit is yet to be announced.

Also built with gym-goers in the mind, is the Under Armour Train. These headphones have been created in collaboration with JBL, with the aim of "taking training headphones to a whole other level". UA ArmourVent Technology is used on the earpads keep you dry while you work out, while the headband is built with venting in mind for additional heat management.

Pressing down the "X" activates the TalkThru feature.

The entire headphone is built using scratch-resistant materials, and the headphones also have a Talkthru feature that lets you hear your training partners without having to take off the headset. Simply touch a button on the side of your headphones, and it will mute your music so you can hear what’s around you. This too features a quick charge feature, so five minutes of charging gets you an hour of playtime.

The JBL Under Armour Train will be available in November 2017, but pricing is yet to be announced.

Finally, there’s the JBL Boombox. Designed to be the most powerful Bluetooth speaker of their lineup, the Boombox measures 254.5 x 495 x 195.5mm and weighs 5.25kg. It has two 4” woofers, and two 20mm tweeters, with a frequency response of 50Hz-20 kHz making it good for a wide range of music genres.

A massive 20,000mAh battery gives you up to 24 hours of playtime, while charging in just under 6.5 hours. Dual USB ports means you can use the speaker to charge your other devices too, so the music can keep going on. Because the Boombox is IPX7 waterproof, you can take it to the pool or the beach without concern. And if you ever need more sound, connect it to up to 100 other JBL Connect+ enabled speakers with just a touch of a button, just like with the JBL Pulse 3.

Pricing and availability for the JBL Boombox is yet to be announced.

International pricing for the JBL products has just been released:
