Jabra unveils updated Sports Pulse and Sports Coach wireless headphones

Jabra introduces the Jabra Sports Pulse Special Edition and the Jabra Sports Coach Special Edition. Together, they are Jabra’s next generation of their wireless sports ear buds, packing optimized features on top of increased sweat resistance.

The new ear buds pack IP55 water and dust resistance, a range of ear gels and ear wings, together with a set of COMPLY foam tips. They also come with improved sound quality in the form of passive noise cancelation, plus enhanced bass. Both headphones offer up to five hours of uptime, and 10 days of standby time.

Like their preceding Sports Pulse wireless ear buds from 2014, the Jabra Sports Pulse Special Edition has the signature in-ear biometric heart rate monitoring feature. This newer edition now combines the monitor with the Jabra Sports Life app, bringing its users the ability to constantly calculate their VO2 Max level. The personalized VO2 max data lets the user track their workout progress. The ear buds also use intelligent in-ear coaching to give real-time feedback based on the user’s heart rate and fitness level. All your details can be found in the app, including distance covered, pace, route, calories burnt, and training effect.

The Jabra Sports Pulse Special Edition retails at S$258 from Q4 2016. They can be found through selected retailers.

These wireless sports buds pack a TrackFit motion sensor, just like their predecessor. This motion sensor detects repetitive movement and logs it as workout repetitions, and it advises the user on their physical movement as they progress along the workout. The accompanying Jabra Sports Life app can keep count with ten of the most commonly performed exercises, including push-ups, lunges, and burpees, while updates to the app will see more exercises made available for tracking.

The Jabra Sports Coach Special Edition retails at S$198 from Q4 2016. They can be found through selected retailers.
