Jabra expands its Elite wireless earbuds line with two new models

By The Count - on 11 Jan 2018, 5:51pm

Jabra's new wireless earbuds will last for up to 15 hours

Jabra Elite 65t Wireless Earbuds

Jabra has unveiled the Elite 65t and Elite Active 65t at CES 2018.

The two earbuds are built upon the success of the existing Elite Sport wireless earbuds and will allow for up to 15 hours of battery life with its cradle - or 5 hours on one charge. The Elite 65t is the version for daily on-the-go use, while the Elite Active 65t, as its name implies, is made for training and sport. The former should not be mistaken as the replacement for the Elite Sport; rather, it sits in between the Elite 65t and the Elite Sports.

Both will feature support for voice services such as Alexa, Siri and Google Now and new colors. The Elite 65t will be available in lead color Black/Gunmetal and also in Black/Copper and Light/Neutral versions, while the Active 65t will only be available in Navy/Copper color.

Together, the earbuds will expand Jabra's top-of-the-line wireless Elite line-up to three products. According to Jabra's press release, here's how the company thinks each earbud will suit you:

  1. Jabra Elite 65t for those who want superior sound and connectivity from truly wireless earbuds for everyday use – with rock solid connectivity and high battery life of totally 15 hrs.
  2. Jabra Elite Active 65t for those who want the same superior sound and connectivity as Elite 65t, with the added features, durability and fit of a sports product – IP56 certification, special coating for better grip and accelerometer for tracking.
  3. Jabra Elite Sport – the existing product for ultimate training and biometric enhancement features and even higher durability (IP67) and 3 year warranty against sweat.

The Jabra Elite 65t will be available from end February with an SRP of S$268. The Elite Active 65t will be available in April with pricing to be announced at a later date.
