Jabra introduces the Evolve2 30 for WFH, online meeting needs

Jabra Evolve2 30 on the guy's head, in case you're wondering.

Back-to-back online meetings while your work from home (WFH) or the office can be relentless. So, a good headset helps alleviate some of that fatigue. To that end, Jabra launched its new Jabra Evolve2 30 - an updated, over-the-ear headphones with a boom microphone that's part of its second-generation personal office audio products called Evolve2.

The newer Evolve2 30 is even lighter than its predecessor at 125g - the older model was 171g. The ear cups are built for comfort and durability, using soft memory foam cushions, while the headband has a stainless steel assembly. Jabra put the headset through hundreds of drop tests to make sure that they not only last for long periods but also last long enough as a whole.

The 28mm drivers are supported by angled, oval ear cups made of soft memory foam, while the headband itself uses a stainless steel assembly. The boom mic, as mentioned, has a dual mic configuration that offers better voice clarity regardless of noise conditions. As an added assurance, the Evolve2 30 is certified by Microsoft Open Office, verifying that the headphones are conducive for use even in noisy offices with lots of chatter going on.

A nice feature is a "busylight" on one side that goes on whenever the Evolve2 30's user enters a call or online meeting - very much like how the "on-air" light comes on when a recording goes live. Additionally, the user can toggle on the light if they do not wish to be disturbed at work.

For ease of use, the headset offers both USB-A and USB-C connectivity

Specs for the Evolve2 30.

The Jabra Evolve2 30 is already officially available at authorised retail outlets and online stores. It goes at S$156 for the stereo version and S$140 for the mono variant.
