At CES 2024 earlier this year, Jabra said it would be releasing a significant firmware update that would improve its high-end Elite 10 and Elite 8 Active earbuds

That time is now. Jabra has just made available a firmware update that would improve the ANC capabilities of the two earbuds.

According to Jabra, the Elite 10 ANC feature would work better during calls to suppress unwanted human voices around you. It said users "can expect up to 2X better background voice blocking".

On the other hand, the Elite 8 Active will get "enhanced ANC and hear-through experience for windy conditions". Jabra says that will the firmware update, the Elite 8 Active's external mics will be more accurate at detecting and compensating for wind noise.

The firmware update is available now free and owners of the Elite 10 and Elite 8 Active can update their earbuds by going to the Jabra Sound+ app.

For instructions on how to update their earbuds, go to Jabra's support page here.

Note: We are currently testing the Jabra Elite 10 as part of a mega high-end true wireless earbuds shootout. Stay tuned for the results.
