iPhone X Plus and a bigger, full-screen LCD iPhone model to launch in 2018?
The iPhone X is out in the market for barely a month and there are already rumors about its successor and other new iPhone models in 2018.
According to KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple is expected to launch three new iPhone models in 2018 which will include a 5.8-inch and 6.5-inch model with OLED displays, and a 6.1-inch model with a full-screen LCD. All three iPhone models will sport the controversial "notch" design and highly advanced TrueDepth camera system.
Kuo believes Apple will continue to target the high-end market with the OLED iPhone models, and use the 6.1-inch model to target the low-end and mid-range market segments. While he did not share the estimated price points for the OLED iPhone models, Kuo predicts the 6.1-inch model will cost between US$649 to US$749.
Since the supply chain is experienced with the production of the iPhone X this year, Kuo is confident that Apple will launch the three iPhone models next year without any delays.
