iPhone SE 2 rumored to launch in May with no headphone jack
Citing information from case makers at the Global Sources Mobile Electronics tradeshow in Hong Kong, Japanese blog Macotakara claims that Apple will release the iPhone SE 2 in May.
According to the case makers, there will be no change to the design of the iPhone SE 2 except for the removal of the 3.5mm headphone jack. Apple is likely to continue using Touch ID on the iPhone SE 2. Macotakara also claimed that the iPhone SE 2 could support wireless charging and is powered by the A10 processor.
An Eurasian regulatory database recently revealed a filing of several unannounced iPhone models with 11 identifiers. Since unannounced devices typically appear in the database a month before they ship, the launch period is in line with Macotakara's report.
