iPhone 15 might ditch the physical SIM card in more countries
More countries are rumoured to join the U.S to have iPhones without the physical SIM card tray.
French news site iGeneration claims the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro could be released without a physical SIM card tray in France. As many countries have adopted eSIM technology for the past few years, Apple might bring the SIM card-free iPhone 15 models to more countries.
For Singapore, all iPhone 14 models support a dual SIM combo of one nano-SIM and one eSIM, and are also capable of supporting dual eSIM combos. However, M1 is the only telco to support eSIM on the iPhone in Singapore.
