Foxconn, which is Apple's main iPhone manufacturer, is gearing up for the iPhone 12 launch next month.

According to a report by South China Morning Post, Foxconn is running 24 hours a day to manufacture the iPhone 12. In addition, it is cancelling employees' holidays and introducing mandatory overtime with higher bonuses. Employees are reportedly only allowed to take four days off per month.

One recruitment ad is said to have offered a 10,000 yuan bonus for employees who started after 18 September, stay for a minimum of 90 days and work for at least 55 days. The bonus is slightly lower at 8,500 yuan for employees who joined after 26 September.

Apple is rumoured to hold an iPhone event on 13 October with a phased launch approach for the four new iPhone models. They are believed to be called the iPhone 12 mini, the iPhone 12, the iPhone 12 Pro and the iPhone 12 Pro Max.
