Leaked schematics of the Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max obtained by Max Weinbach appear to confirm the numerous reports about an iPad Pro-like design and redesigned rear camera module.

EverythingApplePro's YouTube clip shows several CADs of the iPhone 12 Pro Max with squared-off flat sides which is somewhat similar to the reports by Bloomberg and analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. The iPhone 12 Pro Max is said to be slightly thinner (7.4mm) than the iPhone 11 Pro Max (8.1mm).

Other notable changes are a slightly wider and taller form factor to accommodate the screen upgrade from 6.5 to 6.7-inches, slimmer bezels (from 2.5mm to 1.5mm), a smaller notch, a new camera layout on the back to house the LiDAR Scanner, and a capsule-shaped hole on the side of the device that looks like a Smart Connector.

EverythingApplePro and Max Weinbach reiterated that Apple is considering to introduce a new colour option (navy blue) to the iPhone 12 Pro lineup to replace the current midnight green option.

Apple is expected to launch four new iPhone models later this year with two of them replacing the iPhone 11 and the other two replacing the iPhone 11 Pro models. Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, some of the new iPhone models could be released weeks later after the announcement. Analyst Jeff Pu claims that the 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max could launch in October.
