iLuv introduces the SmartShaker 2: an alarm clock with a difference

A flat pill-shaped device, the SmartShaker is one alarm clock you won’t easily dismiss. It pairs with your smartphone via Bluetooth, allowing you to set your alarm by time and date, as well as the type of alarm. Choose from vibration, alarm tone, or both.

The alarm goes up to 103 decibels loud with 16 levels of volume control to best match your waking needs, and there’s even an option to control the fade sound and the duration of the alarm so you don’t wake the entire house.

Choose between a regular alarm, strong vibrations or a combination of both to wake yourself up.

If alarms aren’t your thing, the SmartShaker 2 can also activate your favorite tunes via a paired Bluetooth device, or play a voice recording on your smart phone. In essence, any sound can be used to wake yourself up, and with the option to set up to 10 alarms with the app, you can even set your favorite tunes for special events like birthdays and anniversaries.

If just noise alone isn’t enough, the vibration alarm on the SmartShaker 2 has levels from Normal to Earthquake, and the alarm can pair with rainbow7 and 8 lightbulbs to activate flashing lights or a gentle stream of light to serve the purpose.

Although it’s easily thinner than traditional alarm clocks, the SmartShaker 2 retains essential features like a Snooze button, and the battery lasts for up to 10 days on a single charge, making it perfect for travel too.
