Hyper just unveiled a new 7-in-2 USB-C hub for the new 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pro models.

While the HyperDrive Duo Pro has the same footprint as the HyperDrive Duo, it comes with three important ports missing on the 2021 MacBook Pro which are the Gigabit Ethernet, USB-A, and microSD. The HyperDrive Duo Pro also has HDMI, 3.5mm audio jack, USB-C data and a USB/Thunderbolt compatible 40Gbps/100W PD port.

It connects to the MacBook Pro via two USB-C connectors and does not block the MagSafe 3 power port. Hyper bundles a USB-C extension cable with the USB-C hub so that it can work with any USB-C device such as the iPad Pro. The HyperDrive Duo is compatible with any MacBook Pro/Air from 2016 to 2020.

Hyper is launching the 7-in-2 USB-C hub via an Indiegogo campaign for US$99.99. Early Bird Backers enjoy 50% off the retail price. The HyperDrivbe Duo Pro is stated to ship in January 2022, and comes in Space Gray and Silver.
