The Huawei Nova 5T goes on sale today

The Huawei Nova 5T is the latest addition to the Nova 5 smartphone family. This mid-range device boasts of a 6.26-inch full HD+ display and the device is powered by the Kirin 980 AI processor. This processor is also featured in high-end Huawei smartphones such as the Huawei P30 Pro, P30, Mate 20 Pro and Mate 20.

The Nova 5T has 8GB of RAM and sports 128GB of internal storage, with no support for additional storage expansion. It operates on the new EMUI 9.1 OS and weighs only 174g. It has a 3,750mAh battery with 22.5W Huawei SuperCharge support. It’s touted to charge up to 50% in just 30 minutes.

The smartphone features a rear 4-camera system that comprises the main 48MP lens, 16MP wide-angle, 2MP macro, and 2MP bokeh lens. The front selfie camera features a 32MP f/2.0 lens that’s housed in a punch hole at the top left of its display.

The phone’s AI-powered Super Night mode ensures “blur-free” footages in low-light conditions. The phone comes in three distinctive colours, i.e., Black, Crush Blue, and Midsummer Purple.

Priced at S$598, it’s slated to hit local retail shelves from 14th September 2019.  Meanwhile, it's available for pre-order online from now till 12th September.
