Huawei Nexus rumored to have 5.7-inch 2K display, metal design and Snapdragon 820

The Nexus 6 is built by Motorola and comes with a 5.96-inch Quad-HD display.

There is a rising tide of evidence that Huawei is chosen to manufacture the Nexus phone this year.

According to popular tipster @evleaks, the Huawei Nexus smartphone will come with a 5.7-inch Quad-HD (2,560 x 1,440 pixels) display, a metallic design, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and a fingerprint sensor. It will reportedly ship in Q4.

Rumors of a Huawei Nexus smartphone surfaced in early May when Chinese IT analyst Pan Jiutang claimed that the phone will come with the same display size and resolution as @evleaks stated. Android Police released another report in late May stating that there will be two Nexus phones this year; one will be built by Huawei and the other by LG.

Just a few days ago, The Information reported that Huawei is indeed the manufacturer of the Nexus phone this year thanks to its close relationship with Google and the partnership extends beyond the Nexus phone program.
