Among the leaked details, Mate 40 Pro will likely come with a 6.76-inch OLED display rated at 2,772 x 1,344 pixels resolution, with no further information on its maximum refresh rate.

Also, the phones will contain the last foreseeable, high-end HiSilicon Kirin chipsets made by semiconductor manufacturer TSMC. WinFuture said that the Mate 40 Pro's chipsets are the equivalent of Qualcomm's Snapdragon 865 or 865+, depending on the core configuration of the new chipset.

Another leaked feature is the triple-rear camera system with Leica's touch. The cameras have an unnamed AutoFocus system that combines Laser AF with a new camera sensor. WinFuture also said that the primary camera would likely be 50MP with f/1.9 aperture, with a 20MP ultra-wide-angle camera and a 12MP telephoto lens.

The Mate 40 Pro will also likely bear 8GB RAM, 256GB, and support for both MicroSD cards and Huawei's proprietary Nano Memory cards. Out of all the leaked details (NFC, fast-charging, etc.), there was a special mention about charging adapter included in the phone's box.

The previous leaks only revealed the purported design of the Mate 40 and Mate 40 Pro's appearance, with no mentions of specifications. The mystery will soon be over has Huawei has scheduled for a global Mate 40 series launch come 22 October 2020.
