Huawei could be unveiling the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro next month according to High-tech.mail.ru.

The Russian news site claimed that Dr Wang Chenglu, Huawei's Consumer Business Software President revealed during an EMUI 10 media briefing session that the Kirin 990-powered handsets would launch in Europe on 19 September.

If the report is true, Huawei would be making the announcement a month earlier than expected. For the past two years, Huawei took the wraps off the Mate 20 and Mate 10 series in October. The Mate 30 series are rumored to sport two main cameras with "double-size customized Sony IMX sensors".

Leaked purported front panels of the device also suggest the Mate 30 Pro to have a large screen with very curved sides, tiny bezels and a notch. Other rumored specs include a 4,200mAh battery which supports 55W wired charging, reverse wireless charging up to 10W and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
