To summarise, all three Windows 10 laptops can use either the i5-10210U or i7-10510U processor. However, the MateBook B5-420 is the most powerful and configurable of the trio as it has an NVIDIA GeForce MX350 discrete graphics option and can fit up to 16GB RAM, as compared to just 8GB and integrated graphics for the other two.

The MateBook B5-420 also has the best screen: a 14-inch, 300-nit panel with a 2,160 x 1,440-pixel resolution. The B3-410 also has a 14-inch screen, but it has a lower resolution (1080p) and a slightly lower maximum brightness (250 nits). That said, at 1.38kg, the B3-410 is the lightest.

On the other hand, the B3-510 has a 15.6-inch display. But like the B3-410, this is a 1080p, 250-nit screen. Also, because of its size, you get one more USB 2.0 port. Interestingly though, it has the smallest battery.

Finally, here are the prices of the laptops in China:

MateBook B5-420

  • i5 / 8GB / 512GB / Intel graphics: 6,999 Yuan (~S$1,382)
