The Huawei FreeBuds 3 with active noise-cancelling goes on sale on 30 November
Note: This article was first published on 22 November and it is republished today because the Huawei FreeBuds 3 goes on sale today.
First unveiled at IFA 2019, the Huawei FreeBuds 3 will finally be going on sale here in Singapore on 30 November 2019 at Sitex 2019.
To recap, the FreeBuds 3 are true wireless headphones with active noise-cancellation.
They have an earbud design so they sit loosely on your ears — not inside them. This will no doubt affect isolation but Huawei says this is to ensure users can still easily listen to their surroundings.
Inside, the FreeBuds 3 are powered by the Kirin A1 chipset which supports Bluetooth 5.1 and true independent audio transmission to the individual ear pieces.
On the audio front, the FreeBuds 3 have fairly large 14mm dynamic drivers and a bass tube to improve bass response.
Finally, the FreeBuds 3 come with a wireless charging case that's compatible with any Qi wireless charger or you can even use your Huawei phone to charge it.
Battery life is rated at 4 hours of music playback with a single charge and 20 hours total with the charging case.
The FreeBuds 3 comes in two colours: Carbon Black and Ceramic White.
The Huawei FreeBuds 3 will go on sale on 30 November at Sitex 2019. It is priced at S$238, which makes it significantly cheaper than other true wireless headphones with active noise-cancellation.
Furthermore, purchases at Sitex 2019 on 30 November will come with free gifts worth S$172. This includes a Huawei 15W wireless charger (S$58), Huawei wireless tripod selfie stick (S$38), Huawei FreeBuds 3 silicone case (S$28), and an additional 6-month warranty (S$48). Note that this promo is only for puchases on 30 November at Sitex 2019.
