Chinese phone makers Huawei and Xiaomi will join Samsung in offering smartphones with curved displays this September.

According to Chinese site MyDrivers, Xiaomi is said to be unveiling the Mi Edge or Mi Note Edge. The curved display panel is supplied by LG. For Huawei, it will be getting the panels from Samsung to manufacture the Huawei Edge Mate. Both devices are rumored to be launched around the same time as IFA 2016.

Korean publication ETNews reported in March that Chinese phone makers were negotiating with Samsung to get dual-edge display panels for use in their future smartphones. These Chinese phone makers are expected to develop their own software interface to make use of the dual-edge displays.
