The HTC U23 Pro is official, comes with Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 and 108MP camera
Days after teasing its launch, HTC finally unveiled the U23 Pro.
Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1, the HTC U23 Pro lags behind the other Android flagship phones in the market, such as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-powered Samsung Galaxy S23 series.
Under the hood, you get 8GB/12GB RAM, Android 13 and a 4,600mAh battery with support for 30W wired and 15W wireless charging.
The HTC U23 Pro sports a 6.7-inch Full HD+ 120Hz OLED display, a quad camera setup on the rear (108MP with OIS and EIS + 8MP ultra-wide + 5MP macro + 2MP depth), and a 32MP selfie camera.
Other specs include 256GB internal storage space with microSD support, Gorilla Glass Victus, IP67 rating for water and dust resistance, a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB-C port, 5G, Wi-Fi 6E connectivity, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC.
Preloaded on the HTC U23 Pro is the VIVERSE app, which makes the phone compatible with their VIVE XR Elite mixed reality headset.
The HTC U23 Pro is available for pre-order in Taiwan and the E.U. The 8GB + 256GB model is priced at 16,900 TWD while the 12GB + 256GB model is priced at 17,990 TWD (€569.00). It is available in two colour options: snow white and coffee black.
We'll update this space if there are plans for local launch and availability.
