The great thing about Thunderbolt 3 is its immense bandwidth. With a throughput of 40Gbps, a single Thunderbolt 3 port can support multiple displays, external storage, and other ports.

The HP Thunderbolt Dock G2 comes as a compact black cube and features a USB 3.0 and a 3.5mm audio jack on the front; and two USB 3.0 ports, an Ethernet jack, two DisplayPorts, a Thunderbolt 3 USB-C port, and a USB-C DisplayPort on the back.

The coolest thing, however, is the optional Bang & Olufsen audio module that attaches to the top of the device.

This audio module was designed to function as a speakerphone for conference calls, but one can also easily use it for entertainment.

The HP Thunderbolt Dock G2 will be available in May and prices will start from S$389.
