How to watch the upcoming solar eclipse from home

The “Eclipse of the century” is happening in just a few days, but it’s unfortunately only going to be over Northern America. Still, CNN is covering the event across several locations with a real-time, 4K 360 video stream, so all you have to do to see the eclipse, is to log on this page while it’s happening.

If you don’t want to have to stay up to see the eclipse though, the page still offers plenty of informational content about solar eclipse, with videos explaining things like why the phenomenon occurs, what scientists hope to learn from it, and even what animals do during solar eclipses. There’s even historical perspectives, and tips on how to photograph a solar eclipse, so you can be fully prepared the next time an eclipse is set to occur across South East Asia.

Unfortunately, we can't do anything about the time difference,so you'll still have to stay up if you want to watch the eclipse live. So bookmark the page, and get some coffee ready if you want to catch it life. Better yet, watch it in VR with your smartphone via Google Cardboard or a dedicated VR Headset.
