Honor thinks it can build a better ecosystem than Apple

Honor CEO Zhao Ming reportedly shared during an event that the company wants to take on Apple and its ecosystem. To achieve that, Honor will continue to invest in R&D which accounted for 10% of the company's total revenue in 2022.
Ming added that the Apple iPhone is outclassed by many Android phones in hardware, design, connectivity and battery life, but users still prefer Apple due to iOS and the strong ecosystem. Hence, Honor wants to improve its MagicOS platform and establish a comparable or better ecosystem.
