Honkai Star Rail's 2.6 update introduces Rappa, a new 5-star character and more

The latest update for Honkai: Star Rail, Version 2.6 titled Annals of Pinecanny’s Mappou Age, is set to release on 23 October across PC, Console, iOS, and Android. The update will bring Trailblazers back to Penacony, specifically to the Paperfold University.

At the forefront of the update is the introduction of Rappa, a new 5-star character. Rappa, an Erudition combat path with an imaginary combat type is a part of the Galaxy Ranger and brings a blend of ninja-inspired abilities to the battlefield. For example, after utilising her Ultimate, Ningu: Demonbane Petablade, Rappa will deal AOE damage in a special first-person view. Check out her trailer down below.

In addition to Rappa, the update also sees the banner return of Dan Heng and Aventurine, who will appear in the first and second halves of the Version 2.6 Warp event. 

For those in the late game, there is now the addition of the third Simulated Universe DLC, introducing the Unknowable Domain. In this mode, players will collect and enhance Scepters, combining them to unlock synergies to defeat the final boss.

The update will also introduce new Light Cones, including the 5-star "Ninjutsu Inscription: Dazzling Evilbreaker" and the 4-star "Dream's Montage." Two new relic sets, Sacerdos' Relived Ordeal and Scholar Lost in Erudition, will be available through the Cavern of Corrosion: Path of Uncertainty.

Lastly, a new type of enemy called the Wonder Forest's Banacademic Office Staff will be introduced to the game. 2.6 will go live on 23 October with an update via the respective app stores.
