No one likes thinking about work during the holiday season, but it's still an inevitability, especially as many of us start heading to the workplace next January. But even if we have to face that fact, nothing says we can't ease our workloads, even if just a little bit, to save ourselves little nuggets of time and sanity.
If you want to boost efficiency (and save time) in either your home office or your small business workplace, why not consider Brother's Ink Tank lineup of All-In-One printers, the printers of which, as we've noted earlier this year, are incredibly simple and feature-rich.
Specifically, you may want to take a look at the DCP-T820DW, an upper-midrange offering in the Ink Tank lineup that balances cost with a large feature set.
Being part of the Ink Tank lineup, the DCP-T820DW uses Brother's high-yield ink refill bottles, which is rated to fill 7,500 pages in B&W and 5,000 pages in colour. The DCP-T820DW also offers a print speed of 16.5ipm (images per minute) for colour printing, and 17ipm for mono pages, making it incredibly efficient for printing out slides or diagrams.
This should come as no surprise; Brother is no stranger to fast printers, as another Brother option, the DCP-L3551CDW, was the fastest SOHO printer in our Best Printers of 2020 comparison.
Being part of the Ink Tank lineup's higher-end models, it offers a few additional features its lower-tier brothers don't have, including a 20-sheet Automatic Document Feeder, to handle large-scale printing jobs without needing to monitor the printer constantly, as well as an 80-sheet Multi Purpose Tray. In total, it sports a total capacity of 230 sheets, all up to a resolution of 1,200 x 6,000 dpi. It also supports duplex, or double-sided, printing. It also has an LCD, although the unit here is only one line's width, it is enough to do things like getting connected to your home Wi-Fi and knowing the printer status at a glance.
Adding to the finesse of the DCP-T820DW, it offers plug-and-play connectivity. You heard that right, no need for bulky drivers and software packages. To top it off, it also has a whole suite of connectivity options, including Ethernet and Wireless LAN, USB 2.0, and other OTA options like Brother's iPrint&Scan app, Apple AirPrint, Mopria and Wi-Fi Direct.
If you know someone who's obsessed with shortening turnaround time as much as possible, or if you're that person yourself, the DCP-T820DW is a pretty attractive option. Even if it's not for work, it's a great high volume home printer too that's an excellent companion to growing kids to help print out art work materials or additional assignments for them to munch on regularly.
