Hikvision launches three portable SSDs, including one with fingerprint encryption (Updated)

Hikvision is a Chinese company that makes all manners of gadgets and devices including web cameras, network video recorders, NAS, flash memory cards, SSDs, and even portable SSDs.

Three of their SSDs are coming to Singapore so let's get right to them here.

 

The T100F

The T100F is a small disc-shaped portable external storage that measures just 7cm across and is just 8.2mm thick. In the middle is a fingerprint sensor that encrypts the drive using 256-bit AES encryption. Handily, it supports up to 5 encrypted partitions and 10 fingerprints, so it can be shared by others.

It uses a USB-C connector and is capable of maximum read and write speeds of up to 510MB/s and 450MB/s respectively.

It's available in 512GB and 1,024GB capacities and is priced at S$165 and S$269 respectively.

 

The T100I

The T100I was designed to be stylish and compact, and so it comes in three colours – black, white, and rose gold. Its squarish chassis measures just 6.8cm by 6.8cm, and it's 11.2mm thick.

It has a USB-C connector and is capable of maximum read and write speeds of up to 450MB/s and 400MB/s respectively.

It comes in two capacities, the 480GB model is S$135 and the 960GB model is S$239.

 

The T200N

The Hikvision T200N is a compact portable SSD designed to fit into pockets. The aluminum alloy chassis measures just 11.3cm long, 4.1cm wide, and is just 10mm thick. It also uses a USB-C connector and can support maximum transfer speeds of up to 450MB/s.

It's available in 512GB and 1,024GB capacities and costs S$135 and S$239 respectively.
