According to an Xbox Wire post, the game’s three editions include:
The Microsoft Flight Simulator Standard Edition (US$59.99/S$83) includes 20 highly detailed planes with unique flight models and 30 hand-crafted airports. The Standard Edition will be available on day one with Xbox Game Pass for PC (Beta).
The Deluxe Edition (US$89.99/S$125) includes everything from Microsoft Flight Simulator’s standard edition plus five additional highly accurate planes with unique flight models and five additional handcrafted international airports.
The Premium Deluxe Edition (US$119.99/S$167) includes everything from Microsoft Flight Simulator Standard Edition plus 10 additional highly accurate planes with unique flight models and 10 additional handcrafted international airports.
Essentially, you’ll need to spend more if you want more planes and airports in the game. Microsoft Flight Simulator is incredibly ambitious, aiming to recreate the entire planet Earth and all of its airports in stunning detail. The game is so massive that you might want to delete a couple other games before installing it.
Microsoft Flight Simulator can be pre-ordered now for Windows 10 players, while Xbox Game Pass for PC subscribers can start pre-installing the game today. The game is also set to release on Xbox One consoles at a later date.
