Hideo Kojima would 'start from zero' with Death Stranding 2

We’re not even a month out since Death Stranding’s release, but it seems like Hideo Kojima is already thinking of what the game’s sequel might look like.

A sequel to this game wouldn’t exactly be out of left field, seeing as how it's already become a massive success for PlayStation. In an interview with Vulture however, Kojima said that if he were to make a second game, he, “would start from zero.” He also discussed working with Norman Reedus again, as the two have become close friends.

This probably means that Kojima might make a sequel more in spirit than anything else, with maybe one or two shared actors but an all-new concept and story. Maybe he’ll even delve into the world of horror again, which he's been tweeting about recently.

At this point, it seems like the world is Kojima’s oyster. Be it a sequel to Death Stranding or an all-new game - it’ll be interesting to see what he does next.
