Here's how you check if your Facebook data was shared with Cambridge Analytica

Unless you've been living under a rock, you'd know about the Cambridge Analytica scandal which affected up to 87 million Facebook users including 65,009 accounts in Singapore.

Wondering if you are one of the unfortunate ones affected? Facebook has rolled out a new help page on its site for you to find out immediately. There will be three different messages presented depending on whether you're affected:

  1. Neither you nor your friends logged into ‘This Is Your Digital Life'.
  2. However, a friend of yours did log in. As a result, the following information was likely shared with "This Is Your Digital Life": Your public profile, Page Likes, birthday and current city.
  3. A message informing you that you've installed the 'This Is Your Digital Life' app.

Facebook has also started sending out News Feed notifications to inform users whether their information was accessed by Cambridge Analytica.
