Here are the first two Bravia TVs to get the ‘Ready for PlayStation 5’ tag
Sony has created a ‘Ready for PlayStation 5’ label to make it easier for consumers to identify the best Bravia TVs to use with its next-gen console.
Unsurprisingly, the first Bravia TVs to get this tag are the 2020 flagships, including the Z8H 8K TV and X90H 4K TV, both of which are full-array LED-LCD models. With features like 4K @ 120fps (coming to both TVs via a future firmware update), low 7.2ms input lag (X90H), and HDMI 2.1, VRR and ALLM, these TVs are ready to take full advantage of what the PS5 has to offer.
According to Sony, ‘Ready for PlayStation 5’ TVs also feature a Bravia Game Mode. In addition to auto-switching to this mode for low-latency gaming, users can use it to wake both the TV and console with the DualSense wireless controller. Basic cursor controls can also be performed with the TVs’ bundled remote.
Sony's Z8H 8K and X90H 4K TVs are now available in stores. Here are their recommended retail prices:
- 55-inch X90H: S$2,499
- 65-inch X90H: S$3,499
- 85-inch Z8H: S$26,999
