HardwareZone.com teams up with MatchMove Games

Leading I.T. portal HardwareZone.com has teamed up with Singapore’s MatchMove Games to provide gaming entertainment to its users.

Under the partnership, HardwareZone.com and MatchMove Games have released a co-branded games site, hardwarezone.matchmovegames.com, which is powered by MatchMove Games’ gaming and social networking platform.

Through this new games site, HardwareZone.com users will have access to hundreds of popular casual games from some of the world’s top developers, as well as a number of social games that have recently been released on the MatchMove Games site.

Users will also be able to use MatchMove Games’ rapidly growing social gaming platform, which allows them to add friends, share in-game items, and post messages on each other's profiles.

MatchMove Games CEO Shailesh Naik said: "We are happy to announce our partnership with HardwareZone.com. We believe that their tech-savvy users will be delighted to have gaming entertainment added to the quality content that is already available at HardwareZone.com.”

Vijay Anand, Editor, HardwareZone.com, said: “MatchMove Games' content will add another level of engagement to users at HardwareZone.com. We are already known for providing an excellent database of hardware and consumer electronics prices, excellent reviews of the latest gadgets, as well as having the premier forums for tech-related chatter in Singapore. We have over 400,000 active registered users. Providing a world-class games offering to them is a natural step in our portal's evolution, and one that we're very excited about.”

MatchMove Games is also the exclusive online games provider for industry leaders such as Yahoo! Southeast Asia, Alt Media (Malaysia), Detik and Kompas in Indonesia as well as StarHub in Singapore. Earlier this year, the company also partnered Singapore Press Holdings to offer online games to readers of AsiaOne, Straits Times RazorTV and STOMP.
