Hands On with the Transthermal Feature from MSI

With MSI Transthermal design, the fan casing that sits over the fanstack of the graphics card cooler has been redesigned in an innovative way.

With the Transthermal feature, the 120mm fans, with their blue mounting brackets, can be mounted side-by-side, or stacked on top of each other.

 The MSIHD 7770 Power Edition with its Transthermal cooler in a single fan mode.

The latch shown here, has to be depressed in order to slide the fan housing back,

The fan housing extended in order to accommodate another 120mm cooling fan for its dual-fan mode.

 The additional cooling fan is fitted with the blue mounting bracket.
