You can now enjoy Halo-themed skins in Microsoft Solitaire and Mahjong
In the past fifty years, it's safe to say that the human race has accomplished a great deal. We've put people on the Moon, connected people halfway across the world, and even discovered how to insert Halo cosmetics into Microsoft Solitaire.
Well, I see that as an absolute win, and I'm pretty sure the Halo fans out there certainly don't mind having Master Chief's battle-hardened mug gracing their poker cards and mahjong tiles, assuming they aren't too busy saving the universe.
Earlier today, the official Twitter account for Microsoft Casual Games published a tweet announcing the arrival of Halo-themed skins to two games, namely Microsoft Solitaire (for PC and mobile) and Mahjong by Microsoft (mobile). Needless to say, the two sets of cosmetics were designed collaboratively with Halo Infinite developer 343 Industries, and the best part is that they are completely free for all users to enjoy.
Of course, for those of us in Singapore, do take note that the mahjong format isn't the one we're familiar with locally - it's the Western puzzler-style variant of the game, though the novelty of seeing the Chief's helmet on a tile still makes it worth checking out if you've got the time.
