Watch the trailer for “Hala” — one of the first movies to hit Apple TV+

Apple has just shared the trailer for “Hala”, which will be one of the first movies to hit Apple TV+.

“Hala” tells the story of 17-year-old Pakistani girl living in the US and the challenges she faces in balancing her own desires and dreams and those from her family and religion.

Geraldine Viswanathan stars in this drama which was written and directed by Minhal Baig and executive produced by Jada Pinkett Smith.

The film was positively received at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival and the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival.

Hala will be in theatres in the US starting 22 November and will be available on Apple TV+ two weeks later.
