G.Skill launches super-fast 32GB DDR4 4,266MHz Trident Z RGB memory kit for Intel's Coffee Lake

G.Skill is back at it again with a new high-speed memory kit for Intel’s latest 8th-generation Coffee Lake processors, coming on the heels of speedy options for Kaby Lake-X and Skylake-X. The company has now announced a 32GB Trident Z RGB memory kit that runs at DDR4 4,266MHz, a first for the market.

Before this, the same kit was only available in a 16GB (2x8GB) configuration.

The new 4x8GB modules use Samsung B-die DDR4 integrated circuits and operate at CL 19-23-23-43 timings and 1.4V.

G.Skill says it worked to fine-tune the kit for improved performance, crediting ASUS’ OptiMem technology and the T-Topology layout, which uses equidistant trace lengths, on its new Intel Z370 boards with helping it maintain the same speed at a higher capacity.

Like all Trident Z RGB memory, the new kit boasts an anodized aluminum heat spreader and full-length light bar that can be customized with a wide array of colors and effects. Another nice touch is support for an OC profile function that enables one-click overclocking on compatible motherboards.

The new memory kit will be available in December from G.Skill’s authorized distribution partners.
