Google announced it will be upgrading its paid storage plans and rolled out a new, more affordable storage plan. It also lowered the pricing of its 2TB storage plan.

Starting from the U.S, Google will upgrade all paid Drive storage plans to Google One in the coming months. The change will roll out to other countries as well.

Google One not only give you one-tap access to its live customer service, it also allows you to add up to five family members to your storage plan with their respective private storage space.

More importantly, Google introduced a new storage tier plan, 200GB at US$2.99 per month.

The 2TB plan is now available at US$9.99/month, which is US$10 discount from its previous price of US$19.99/month.
