Google's Digital Wellbeing feature could be slowing down your Pixel phone

Digital Wellbeing is one of the new features of Android 9.0.

One of Android's key features could be slowing down the Pixel phones.

According to some Reddit users, Google's Digital Wellbeing feature could be slowing down the Pixel phones. Some users claimed to have experienced improved performance on their Pixel phones after the Digital Wellbeing feature is turned off.

Digital Wellbeing was one of the new features introduced on Android 9.0 where you can track the amount of time spent on each app and set limits for the amount of time spent in each app.

If you are currently facing some performance issues on your Pixel phone, you can try to turn off Digital Wellbeing and see if there are any improvements. You can do so via Settings > Digital Wellbeing > Turn off usage access > Toggling the "Permit usage access" option to off on the next "Usage access" screen.
