After months of rumoured delays, Google is said to have decided on the launch date for the Pixel 4a.

Tipster @jon_prosser claims that he is 100% confident that the Pixel 4a would be announced on 3 August. In addition, he questioned if consumers care about the phone as Google might have pushed back the launch too much.

An official render of the Pixel 4a was accidentally uploaded by Google a few weeks ago. The latest beta version of the Google Search app suggests that Google could be working on a 5G variant of the Pixel 4a. The US$399 Pixel 4a is expected to sport a 5.8-inch display and run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 730.
