Alongside the new Pixel 4a, Google also unveiled its plans for the rest of the year and said that it will release the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G later this fall.

While no price has been indicated for the Pixel 5, we do know that the Pixel 4a 5G will be priced starting at US$499 (~S$686).

Google also said that the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G will launch in 9 countries and that includes: US, Canada, UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Japan, Taiwan, and Australia. Yup, Singapore isn't on the list.

And, I'm afraid that's all we know about these two phones for now. Obviously, the Pixel 4a 5G will support 5G, but beyond that, I'm afraid Google didn't announce anything else.

There's rumours that the Pixel 4a 5G will come with a larger OLED display and that it will feature a second camera lens. It will also likely be powered by Snapdragon 765G.

Looking at the teaser image above, it looks likely that the Pixel 4a 5G will have a second camera seeing that the camera bumps on the two phones are quite pronounced.

As for the Pixel 5, it will have its work cut out after last year's rather lacklustre Pixel 4.
