Smart payment app Fave and Google Pay have entered into a partnership that allows users of Google Pay to scan any FavePay SGQR, and earn up to 20% cashback across 15,000 Food and Beverage outlets and retailers which include Subway, Food Republic, Food Junction, BreadTalk, Puma and more.

Merchants on FavePay now have a new avenue for customers to pay along with Fave, DBS PayLah!, and Singtel Dash.

Google Pay is available for download on Android and iOS.

How it works

Use Google Pay to scan any SGQR where FavePay or PayNow is accepted, and pay from a linked bank account or credit card that is already linked to PayNow via Google Pay.

Scan the FavePay SGQR code using Google Pay, complete payment, and immediately earn up to 20% in cashback on your next purchase with the same merchant.

When making a new transaction with the same merchant using Google Pay, your earned cashback is automatically applied for an immediate discount without any user intervention needed.

Want rewards? Google Pay gives you a chance to win a scratch card containing cashback of up to S$10, and a surprise merchant voucher weekly, with every eligible transaction. Plus, for a limited period, you can earn up to S$3 for each of the first three FavePay transactions on Google Pay with a minimum spending of S$3.   As of now, Google and FavePay have not said when this offer will end.

You can easily review all the rewards you’ve earned with FavePay transactions in the ‘Rewards’ tab on Google Pay so you don’t miss anything important.
