If you can't beat them, join them. Google has just splashed a giant ad of its Pixel 4 phone on a huge Times Square billboard, effectively confirming that we'll be seeing an orange version of the phone come October. The company has been slowly revealing details about the Pixel 4 in the months leading up to launch, and we already know that the phone will have a square camera bump and face unlock and motion gesture features.

The new ad was spotted by Reddit user LousyTX and first reported by 9to5Google, but it of course isn't really news. Photos of the orange Pixel 4 already surfaced online before this, so Google is just confirming what leakers have been telling us. This wouldn't be out of character for the company either, since it usually offers more colourful options alongside the typical black and white. For instance, the Pixel 3 came in a Not Pink colour while the Pixel 3a debuted a new Purple-ish tone.

The orange Pixel 4 looks like it'll join the black and white models that have been floating around. At this rate, it remains to be seen if Google still has any new colours or surprises to show off on 15 October. It is also rumoured to be working on upgrades to Night Sight that would make it better for astrophotography, which sounds pretty cool.
